Keeping Tabs on 26.2 Acres of Manhattan
Rail Yards Blog is a new online resource created by Friends of the High Line for all news about the West Side Rail Yards planning process. Here, you will find background information on the site, the planning process and the potential rail yards developers, feedback from the surrounding community, and up-to-date press coverage. We began this blog because we noticed a void in information about this major Manhattan site. While we are primarily concerned with the treatment of the High Line at the rail yards, we are also dedicated to making sure the planning process is as inclusive, transparent and community-oriented as possible. By sharing information and creating a platform for dialogue, Rail Yards Blog is a tool to stay informed and get involved in shaping this important New York site.Tags
